Day 1 – Thursday, July 29 – Milwaukee, WI

Arrive today in Milwaukee, WI where you enjoy a three-night stay at a local hotel.  Dinner is on your own this evening.

Day 2 – Friday, July 30 – Laverne & Shirley Milwaukee Tour w/Lunch – Harley-Davidson Museum – Dinner Cruise

After breakfast, get ready for a unique city tour of Milwaukee with Laverne & Shirley.  First, Laverne & Shirley will run into the group at the hotel, then they will lead the group on a lighthearted city tour featuring stories of Laverne & Shirley’s antics.  Stops will be made at the Bronze Fonz, City Hall and a Polish Flat (very similar to the style Laverne & Shirley lived in – not the exact house that is shown on TV) and the Pfister Hotel which was features in a few episodes of Laverne & Shirley.

Next, tour the Lakefront Brewery, ranked the 4th best brewery tour in America by Trip Advisor. You will see for yourself, laugh a little, drink a beer, and enjoy the humor brewing story. You will also have the chance to learn the Schlemiel, Schlimazel dance (great photo opportunity). Tour the facility, see the bottling line, enjoy some samples (soda is available for those who do not consume alcohol) and everyone will receive a souvenir glass.

Lunch will be included today at a local restaurant.

This afternoon, visit the Harley-Davidson Museum. Whether you’re a die-hard motorcycle enthusiast or simply curious about American history, the Harley-Davidson Museum offers something for everyone. Located on 20 acres in downtown Milwaukee, the Museum showcases much more than the iconic bikes themselves. It offers an immersive experience into American history and culture through the lens of one of the nation’s most renowned brands.

End the day with a dinner cruise on Lake Michigan. Step aboard for an unforgettable evening on the water! Indulge in a delectable three-course meal as you cruise along the scenic Milwaukee River and the sparkling Inner Harbor of Milwaukee. (B,L,D)

Day 3 – Saturday, July 31 – Pabst Mansion – German Fest Milwaukee

Start the day with a guided tour of the Pabst Mansion. The Pabst Mansion represents the epitome of America’s Gilded age splendor in Milwaukee. The Pabst residence was completed in July of 1892 for world famous brewer, Great Lake steamship captain and model citizen Captain Frederick Pabst, a famous German American brewing baron. Since 1978, dedicated volunteers and community leaders have been working to restore the Pabst Mansion to its original grandeur. The Mansion stands as one of Milwaukee’s great architectural landmarks.

Lunch will be included today at a local restaurant.

The remainder of the day will be spent at German Fest, a beloved annual event that celebrates and preserves German culture in the heart of the city. German Fest is now recognized as one of the largest and most beloved German festivals in North America—set along the stunning shores of Milwaukee’s lakefront each July.

Held at Henry Maier Festival Park, this vibrant festival has become a cherished tradition for both locals and visitors. The event brings the best of German heritage to Milwaukee, offering you a chance to experience authentic German food, music, dance, and customs. From traditional bratwurst and pretzels to lively polka bands and folk performances, German Fest provides a fun and immersive experience for all ages.

Explore a variety of cultural exhibits, enjoy delicious beer selections, and participate in fun activities, German Fest Milwaukee is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the rich traditions and festive spirit of German culture.  Dinner will be on your own this evening at the festival. (B,L)
