Itinerary
Day 1 – Thursday – Asheville, NC
Arrive today in Asheville, NC where you enjoy a two-night stay at a local hotel. Dinner will be included this evening at a local restaurant. (D)
Day 2 – Friday – Full Day at Biltmore Estate w/ Biltmore’s NEW Luminere Experience & Dinner at Stables Cafe
After breakfast, enjoy a full day at Biltmore Estate. The luxurious family home of George and Edith Vanderbilt is a marvel of elegance and charm, as magnificent today as it was more than a century ago. Faithfully preserved and filled with original furnishings and masterpieces of art, no other residence in America offers a more authentic and inspiring view of Gilded Age life while suggesting that the Vanderbilts and their guests are still at home.
Enjoy a self-guided visit, with audio headset, to the Biltmore House exploring grand spaces filled with masterpieces of art and stunning antiques, into private family quarters, indoor pool and bowling alley, and kitchens and servants’ areas.
Spend time exploring Antler Hill Village, a lively hub on the Biltmore Estate that beautifully blends history, shopping, and entertainment. Stroll through unique boutiques and galleries filled with local crafts, estate-inspired gifts, and specialty foods. Lunch will be on your own today.
Then, step into the renowned Biltmore Winery for a complimentary wine tasting, where you’ll sample award-winning vintages crafted right on the estate. With its welcoming atmosphere, charming shops, and world-class wines, Antler Hill Village offers the perfect way to unwind and savor the flavors of Biltmore.
Dinner will be included this evening at the Stable Café, located in the beautifully restored 19th-century stables of the Biltmore Estate. Once home to the Vanderbilt family’s prized horses, the café now offers a unique blend of rustic elegance and modern comfort. Beneath soaring ceilings and original brick archways, you’ll savor hearty Southern favorites and seasonal specialties made with fresh, local ingredients.
Tonight, see Biltmore in a whole new light with a brand-new experience, Luminere, debuting in Spring 2026. As day turns to dusk, sunset mountain views and stunning landscapes set the stage for an unforgettable evening of light, sound, and wonder. Under starlit skies, Biltmore House becomes a canvas that illuminates its remarkable story, and its renowned gardens dance before you with breathtaking artistry.
In addition to the projection show, your group can stroll through the historic gardens, which will come alive with beautifully designed illuminations. You’ve never seen Biltmore like this! (B,D)
Day 3 – Saturday – Flat Rock Village Shopping – Flat Rock Playhouse Matinee – Saturday Night Lights at Tryon International Equestrian Center
After breakfast, depart for the village of Flat Rock, NC. In the heart of Flat Rock, you’ll find original artwork, gifts, crafts, antiques, and wonderful food. Start with the shops on Little Rainbow Row, visit The Wrinkled Egg, and other colorful shops. Stroll the sidewalk, explore the shops, relax in the rocking chairs out front, then cross the street to explore the shops in Flat Rock Square. You can reach all of these in the village on foot. Lunch will be on your own today.
This afternoon, see a matinee show at the Flat Rock Playhouse. The Playhouse is officially designated The State Theatre of North Carolina. Open since 1940, the Playhouse continues to thrill audiences with Broadway musicals, comedy and drama productions.

This evening, enjoy Saturday Night Lights at the Tryon International Equestrian Center – an incredible horse show featuring a Grand Prix level competition from some of the world’s most competitive athletes. International riders lead their horses into soaring jumps over obstacles, including some nearly 5 feet tall and the rider with the fewest mistakes win. Hosted under the lights of the expansive Tryon Stadium, the electric atmosphere is truly an immersive experience for all – regardless of whether you’re an avid equestrian or a new fan of the sport.
A buffet dinner will be included this evening in the Legends Club with a perfect view of the Stadium. (B,D)
