Itinerary

Day 1 – Pigeon Forge, TN – Pirates Voyage Dinner Show

Welcome to the beautiful Smoky Mountains, where Dolly Parton was born and raised and the place, she has always called home. Her love for these mountains has inspired her music, her life and her incredible legacy. Settle into your Pigeon Forge hotel for a two-night stay and get ready for a memorable Dolly-inspired adventure.

**Groups have the option to make the experience even more special with a stay at one of Dolly’s Dollywood resorts.

Tonight, enjoy the Pirates Voyage Dinner Show. Celebrate the Pirate Spirit with fun and adventure at Dolly Parton’s Pirates Voyage Dinner Show. Before the show starts enjoy a fun, interactive experience in Pirates Village! Thar be a real pirate sing-a-long of all yer’ favorite seaside songs, amazing balancing acts, fantastic juggling, live animals, audience participation and much more. Ye won’t want to miss a moment; it’s all part of the fun of being a pirate! (D)

Day 2 – Dolly Parton Statue & Hometown – Afternoon at Dollywood – Dolly Parton Experience – Stampede Dinner Show

This morning, visit Sevierville, TN, the hometown of Dolly Parton.  Here, you can snap a selfie with Dolly Parton’s statue on the Sevier County Courthouse lawn. This tribute to the most honored female country performer of all time by her hometown community is the only place on earth you’re guaranteed to get close to the living legend. The six-and-a-half-foot tall bronze sculpture was crafted by nationally-known local artist Jim Gray and unveiled more than 30 years ago.

A stop will also be made at The Pines Mural located in historic downtown Sevierville on the Pines Building. The artwork honors its building’s history as a theater by featuring five of the most famous talents who performed on stage: singer Roy Acuff, comedian Archie Campbell, superstar Dolly Parton, singer-songwriter June Carter Cash, and musician Chet Atkins.

The remainder of the day will be spent at Dollywood Theme Park, known for its world-class entertainment, amazing thrill rides, and family-friendly adventure.  At Dollywood, you’ll enjoy live stage shows, the Dolly museum, real train rides, the American Eagle habitat. You’ll also enjoy watching Dollywood’s master craftsmen and artisans at work proudly continuing the centuries-old traditions of hand-making their arts & crafts with daily demonstrations.  Dollywood offers you the chance to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains and the incredible spirit of its people. Lunch will be on your own at the park.

Also included at Dollywood is The Dolly Parton Experience. With several interactive elements, you can follow alongside Dolly as she journeyed from Locust Ridge to stages around the world. Housed in multiple buildings, the multi-faceted Dolly Parton Experience includes exhibits which span her iconic career, the inspiration and results of her biggest dreams, the importance of her family, and even a curated exhibit that highlights Dolly’s signature style through the years.

The Dolly Parton Experience provides you with more Dolly than ever, as it is three times the size of the former Chasing Rainbows Museum. The entire Adventures in Imagination area transforms into the Dolly Parton Experience. In this reimagined themed area, you’ll discover three distinct experiences, each uniquely crafted to tell Dolly’s story like never before.

End the day with Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Show. The show is filled with friendly North and South competition, thrilling horse riding stunts, spectacular special effects, phenomenal musical productions plus a mouth-watering four-course feast complete with a delicious dessert! Also, Stampede’s SKEETER & NUGGET™ show delivers a huge helping of family-friendly comedy at every show!  As Dolly says, “It’s the most fun place to eat in the Smokies.” (B,D)
