Itinerary

Day 1 – Versailles, KY – The Kentucky Castle Experience w/Tour, Bourbon Tasting & Dinner

Arrive this afternoon in Versailles, KY, where the adventure begins at the iconic Kentucky Castle, one of the most unique and photogenic landmarks in the state. Start with time to explore the property, wander the castle grounds, admire the architecture and enjoy the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Inside the castle, you’ll find a bourbon bar featuring True Story Bourbon, making it a perfect place for your group to gather, toast the start of the trip, and ease into the evening. The guided tour provides a brief history of the castle and features various spaces on the 1st and 2nd floors, terrace views, rooftop access and the ability to explore the castle grounds afterward. This tour showcases both interior and exterior spaces, so please be sure to dress for the weather!

Settle in for a memorable dinner featuring Kentucky flavors in a stunning setting at The Kentucky Castle. This is a great opportunity for everyone to connect, enjoy good food, and set the tone for the days ahead.

This evening, you will check-in to your local hotel for the next two nights. (D)

Day 2 – Scenic Rail Biking Adventure – Horse Farm Tour – Bourbon Tour & Tasting – Free Time in Downtown Versailles

After breakfast, head deep into the heart of Bluegrass Country for a Scenic Rail Biking adventure.  This unique activity takes you on a 10-mile round-trip journey through Kentucky’s famous Bluegrass countryside. Group members can pair up on these electrified pedal tandem bikes or ride together on quad bikes. Together, you’ll travel through horse farms, limestone cuts and sweeping rural vistas.

At the halfway point, there’s a stop for pictures at two iconic sights: Young’s High Bridge and Wild Turkey Distillery. This is a great time to take group photos, enjoy the views, and simply soak in the beauty of the region before traveling back. (Note: Experiences may vary depending on 2026 seasonal availability.)

After biking, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Versailles is surrounded by world-famous horse farms. This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the region’s legendary thoroughbred farms—such as WinStar Farm or Woodburn Stud—and learn about Kentucky’s deep horse racing heritage. It’s an educational and visually stunning part of the day.

Then choose a nearby distillery for a tasting and light tour for a group bourbon experience. Each has a unique atmosphere and is well suited for groups.

• Castle & Key Distillery – Known for its striking architecture and beautifully restored historic grounds.
• Woodford Reserve Distillery – A classic stop along the Bourbon Trail with elegant tastings and scenic views.

Round out the afternoon with free time in downtown Versailles. It’s a charming area filled with boutiques, antiques, coffee shops and local artisans perfect for group exploring and souvenir shopping.

Day 3 – Kentucky Horse Park Morning Workout – Depart for Home

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and enjoy a unique experience – a horse farm workout at the Kentucky Horse Park. It’s a fun, active, and hands-on way to spend time together while connecting with Kentucky’s horse culture in a more personal way.

Following your visit, depart for home. (B)
